Pokemon: A lone friend - Chapter 5
“...up already! Come on, get up!”
A weird voice was pulling Jack back into consciousness. Something about it was off, but it sounded familiar. It was the same voice he heard before he got knocked out. Shortly after, he was able to feel the hard floor beneath him. He noticed the stale air that was not exactly helping to clear Jack's thoughts. Slowly but surely, he was opening his eyes and saw right into the face of the grass type that must just have saved his life again. Jack still lied in the same dark room with the pedestal, where he found those weird gems, but various parts of the ground, walls and stone table were now destroye

Pokemon: A lone friend - Chapter 4
The group of Racheal, Niko and Jack was wandering towards where they came from yesterday: In the direction of the ruins of an ancient civilization that might reveal some clues about why Niko and Jack were here. At least that's what professor Carter thinks.
"Whoa...", Racheal was still ahead of Jack like before, engrossed in conversation with Niko. "So, you live in a big city. I cant stand the thought of living near hundred thousands of others. Isn't it super noisy there? And you can't even go out and explore nature unless you travel extremely far away!“
Jack was a bit annoyed by her and didn't listen, but she seems to be very capable

Pokemon: A lone friend - Chapter 3
Summary of chapter 2 (You can skip this part if you've read it):
Jack goes to school and meets a very popular guy of his grade that he knows since elementary school, his name is Niko. They played Pokémon together when they were kids, but Niko stopped very soon. He has a lot of friends, contrary to Jack who has pretty much no friends at school at all. Jack wondered why Niko would talk to him, because they haven't spoken with each other unless they had to since elementary school. Niko invites him to go to the information event at the college together. Jack wonders why Niko wants to do something with him and would prefer that Niko let him

Pokemon: A lone friend - Chapter 2
Authors note: This chapter doesn't really have anything directly related to Pokémon in it and might be relatively boring to read if you're only interested in that. If you want to, you can skip it and read a summary of this chapter at the beginning of chapter 3, but you might still miss a few character traits of an important character, who will appear in this chapter for the first time. The transition between chapters 1 and 3 could also be confusing without reading this one. In compensation for the possibly boring chapter, I will release chapter 3 as soon as I can, probably within the next day. I still recommend you to read it if you want

Pokemon: A lone friend - Chapter 1
The mountains. Jack spotted, that something on the horizon seemed to stop the endless sea of blue sky several miles ahead. It shouldn't surprise him to see the mountains already, even though atleast half a day worth of traveling through the cold plains still separated him from his destination. If there were any clouds in the sky, he imagined the mountains would easily reach them. Why are tall buildings in cities called skyscrapers if the name fits so much better for these mountains? Noone, neither person nor Pokémon, has found a way to cross them... yet.
It already began getting significantly colder a few days ago, but now Jack began
